Functional Families

Overview of the Structural Clusters (SC) and Functional Families within this CATH Superfamily. Clusters with a representative structure are represented by a filled circle.

Superfamily: Ribosomal protein L15

This superfamily entry consists of the ribosomal protein L15. Also known as L13, YL10 or Rp15r in yeast, L15 can be found in the large subunit of the eukaryotic (60S) ribosome, such as the mammalian, insect, plant, yeast and archebacterial ribosome. Structurally, L15 has a 3-layer alpha-beta-alpha sandwich fold.
