Functional Families

Overview of the Structural Clusters (SC) and Functional Families within this CATH Superfamily. Clusters with a representative structure are represented by a filled circle.

Superfamily: Cdc37, Hsp90 binding domain

This superfamily includes Cdc37, a molecular chaperone required for the activity of numerous eukaryotic protein kinases. This entry corresponds to the Hsp90 chaperone (heat shock protein 90) binding domain of Cdc37 PMID:16098195. It is found between the N-terminal Cdc37 domain INTERPRO:IPR013855, PFAM:PF03234, which is predominantly involved in kinase binding, and the C-terminal domain of Cdc37 INTERPRO:IPR013873, PFAM:PF08564 whose function is unclear.

INTERPRO:IPR013874, PFAM:PF08565
