DksA, coiled-coil domain
".

Functional Families

Overview of the Structural Clusters (SC) and Functional Families within this CATH Superfamily. Clusters with a representative structure are represented by a filled circle.

Superfamily: DksA, coiled-coil domain

DksA is an RNA polymerase-binding transcription factor. According to literature, it consists of a coiled-coil (CC) domain and a globular domain, most of which lacks secondary structure. The CC domain approaches the RNA polymerase (RNAP) active site through the secondary channel. DOI:10.1016/j.febslet.2013.01.073
