"
Phosphoprotein, C-terminal domain
".

Functional Families

Overview of the Structural Clusters (SC) and Functional Families within this CATH Superfamily. Clusters with a representative structure are represented by a filled circle.

Superfamily: Phosphoprotein, C-terminal domain

This superfamily is named after the phosphoprotein (P) of rabies virus that binds the viral polymerase to the nucleoprotein (N)-RNA template for transcription and replication. The C-terminal domain is monomeric and appears to be directly involved in binding of N-RNA.
