Functional Families

Overview of the Structural Clusters (SC) and Functional Families within this CATH Superfamily. Clusters with a representative structure are represented by a filled circle.

Superfamily: Serine-rich domain

According to literature DOI:10.1074/jbc.M501258200), p130cas (Crk-associated substrate) is a docking protein that is involved in assembly of focal adhesions and concomitant cellular signalling. The serine-rich region, a stable four-helix bundle motif, is positioned between Crk and Src-binding sites and is associated with protein-protein interactions PFAM:PF08824.
